As I headed to the property- it was not disclosed that the property was alongside a mud road that was one way- and full of pot holes and in fact the 4WD rental car I was in slid all over just trying to turn into the property. The entry way is overgrown and garbage cans were laying all over. When I arrived through the gate, the driveway was also muddy and unpaved, and proceeded to back up toward the front door to unload my bags. The stairs were wooden and super short, chipped paint and splinters for days. The door code was not preprogrammed as said it would be in the listing. I called and got voicemail and waited in the rain for 15 minutes to get a response. Once I finally got into the property, it was extremely humid inside and the place clearly was thrown together with cheap and very small furniture sparsely put in rooms. There were large bugs on window sills and generally a not super clean feeling. The house seemed like a home project thrown together- no floors match, the cabinets wouldn't shut tight- it reminded me of a house in the Virgin islands that was haphazardly thrown together. I assumed on the pics and listing that it would be extremely nice to host VIP guests- based on the drive in and the interior, it was NOT. I talked to the management company and requested a partial refund. They did not engage in that remotely and kept asking to get on a call. I had to book another property because this one was so bad.
