Lovely home!

What a beautiful home! The cleanliness was immaculate, and communication with the host was good. The location is great not too far from downtown. Additional beds if needed. Would definitely stay again. Made our reunion that much more amazing.

Broken AC -- & insufficient refund

I’d recommend staying somewhere else. When we arrived, the AC wasn’t working. The property owner came 1.5 hrs later that evening to see if he could fix it. The repair guy wasn’t going to be able to get the part/AC fixed until day #2 of our stay. And we’d need to be onsite to let the repair guy into the house in the morning. The property owner promised us a discount if we could wait until morning when his regular repair guy could come and get it fixed vs. him having to call an emergency tech (which we knew would cost an arm and a leg on a holiday weekend). Since our plans of hosting a dinner that night were already ruined, we agreed to wait until morning (thinking the refund would be adequate). I told him a one night refund on what we paid would be a fair given the situation. We didn't receive this amount (only ~65% of what we paid for one night). Other things to note: the pillows and couch were cheap/uncomfortable, it wasn't clear all the towels were in the toilet closet of the master bathroom, there wasn't a full sized coffee maker (drip coffee for party of six is annoying), there wasn't a mixing bowl, and he had to spray for wasps while he was at the house (since there were holes in the screens and we'd have the windows open due to the AC). AC in Austin Texas in late May is an absolute MUST. The last thing people want to be doing on their vacation and after a long day of traveling is dealing with something like this (or dealing with trying to get a refund).

Great comfortable stay

We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house while prepping for our daughters wedding. It is light and bright and very tidy. The neighborhood is friendly and safe for walking. We plan to return soon and often.

Perfect Spot in Austin to stay

We came to Austin to spend a few days. We chose this home because it is just 15 mins from everything. We were so pleased at how pretty this home was. It's very well maintained. The owner also had thoughtful touches for us throughout the home. It has three great bedrooms, a spare single bed/cot and accessories tucked away if you have a young child. The showers worked great and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was stocked with appropriate kitchenware. We will come again if we are back on the area.
