The living area is simply marvelous and one of the best spots to gather and spend a wonderful time with your friends. The kitchen, as you will see, is something straight out of every chef's dream–it boasts modern, stainless steel appliances and everything you could need to channel your inner chef and surprise your friends with full-course meals. Outside, the private gas grill would be perfect to spice up your meals a little bit and the outdoor dining area will be much appreciated if the group would like to dine outside. The balcony features a couple of comfortable chairs overlooking the lush patio where the dogs can run around freely.

This marvelous retreat is conveniently close to the vibrant South Congress Ave (only two blocks away) and near beautiful parks, restaurants, and music venues. If cooking isn't your forte or you're in the mood for something local, you'll find endless dining options just a block or two from your rental. Try Home Slice Pizza! Continental Club is a 'can't miss' for live music. The Saturday 'matinee' show from about 4-7 is a favorite to many. It's free and the band is twangy and smoking hot. Other SoCo attractions include Perla's (seafood), Jo's Coffee next to Hotel San José (a great place for a cocktail), South Congress Cafe (a great spot for brunch), Vespaio (Italian), June's, Torchy's Tacos. The heart of Austin is one and a half mile away, just across the Congress Bridge. For those who are outdoor fans, Zilker Park is one of the most popular attractions here and is less than three miles away from you.

Comfortable, beautiful well appointed home in the very BEST location!

We recently stayed at this wonderful house for a family wedding. There were 6 of us with each couple having their "own space" without feeling cramped or on top of each other. The house is laid out so brilliantly, every detail is so well thought out. My elderly parents were able to use the main floor queen bedroom walk out to the backyard, and a full washroom located right beside it. There are two other bedrooms on the second floor. A queen bedroom with full ensuite washroom and walkout balcony. The primary suite upstairs is beyond stunning with a king bed, incredible private balcony over looking the backyard and a huge ensuite with soaker tub, walk in shower and double sink vanity. All of the beds were extremely comfortable with great linens. The kitchen was well appointed and laid out so well. The living area was comfortable. Everything in this house was in excellent condition, super clean and fully functional. We cannot rave enough about the area and location of this house. Although you are only around 400 meters from South Congress, the area is so quiet and peaceful. The street has huge mature trees that are protected. You will notice that some of the homes in the area have literally built their homes incorporating the trees into the actual building design! You truly couldn't ask for a better location than this house. We could walk to the coolest bars, live music, funky shops, delicious restaurants, all within a few blocks of South Congress. Absolutely zero complaints!

House was perfect for a girls weekend. Very clean and spacious. Everyone had their own bathroom. House stocked with many amenities. Neighborhood close to S Congress, easy walk to restaurants. Safe to jog/walk. Neighbors very quiet. Couldn't recommend more.

The house is well built with a beautiful courtyard with big, mature trees that provide privacy and are beautiful. The house is as advertised/pictured. Well insulated house so I didn't hear friends talking downstairs after I went to bed nor did I hear the early morning risers. Well situated to walk around South Congress' shops & restaurants. Peaceful

Nice, quiet and peaceful. Two bedrooms upstairs had en suite bathrooms and the bedroom downstairs shares the bathroom down the hallway with guests. A few things could have made the stay perfect: The stove was really tricky turning it on and always took several tries to get it lit. We also would love to have had a blender for our morning breakfast smoothies. Also, you have to go all the way around to the back of the unit to unlock the door instead of having a lock on the doors that are right there in the front yard.

Property is a large condo, but the way it is set up, it feels like a house. We never saw or heard people from the adjacent condo. The condo is a great size and each of the three bedrooms has a bathroom. It was well stocked, had everything we need and then some. We were there during a heat advisory, temps up to 108, and the AC was perfect! Just 2 blocks from south Congress, asking to shopping/restaurants was a breeze. I also appreciated we weren’t given a long list of chores at check out (I always leave a place tidy, but hate when asked to do laundry, etc). The only “complaint” I have (and it’s not really a complaint, just preference) would be more/cozier seating in the living room).

Great house in great neighborhood!

The house had everything our family of four (parents and two grown children) could need. Privacy (everyone had their own bathroom!) and fully stocked. The neighborhood is the best - lots of fun to walk around. Many parks and just a few minute walk from restaurants, music and shopping.

Great location, great house

We loved the neighborhood and the house worked well for a couple with 2 young kids and their grandparents. Kitchen is well equipped but the freezer was not working during our stay. Owner installed a stand-alone freezer but that still didn't give us ice cubes. Outdoor area was also nice.

The property is located walking distance to S. Congress which we really enjoyed. We were in Austin for our daughter's wedding and the house was perfect for all our needs. Although the overall communication with the management co. was not always immediate, we really appreciated having someone bring us an iron. We would love to stay again next time we visit Austin.
