Centrally located, the condo is three miles from downtown, two miles from the University of Texas, and 7.5 miles from the airport. Within walking distance of the condo are a downtown bus stop, major grocery store, numerous restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops, an award-winning science museum for children and one of best food-truck courts and farmers markets in the city. The condo is 2,000 square feet with the entrance and garage on the first floor and the living area on the second. Permitted street parking will be provided.

Owner cancelled 4 week stay the day before we arrived.

Driving 3 days to stay in Austin, Texas ina place we booked 4 months prior. Arrived to find the door code didn't work. In the dark in my car I finally got through to VRBO service when they told me the reservation had been cancelled the day before but being on the road we didn't even know that. Forced to find overnight accommodations and other places to stay for the planned 4 week stay. Don't trust this host, incredibly inconvenient and it ruined our stay.

Was a beautiful condo, lovely interiorly decorated, and quite spacious. Two small decks to sit out on. Nice view out onto Simond Ave. Very short walk to the restaurants, shops, parks, pools, golf in or adjacent to Mueller. Useful home base from which to operate for our 3 months in Austin. Our host was wonderful; very friendly and responsive. Would definitely like to rent this condo again next year during the winter if it is available.
