Nice place to stay

Great place to stay! We arrived early and used the heated pool until check-in. The chalet had a great view and all the amenities we needed, even though some of it is a bit dated. The service was great and the on site restaurant is handy.

The property was great and was located right at the beginning of the Cabot trail which was very convenient. Although the room was not new, it was very clean. The view from the front balcony was to die for. Everyone was very nice, polite, kind and accommodating. One thing that really bothered me was the noise of the AC in the room. My room was located in the main lodge and the AC was extremely loud which was very annoying. This was also a problem for us when trying to relax on the balcony.

The bed was comfortable and the room had all the amenities needed. Having a patio/balcony was nice. The view was great. The cons: it’s old, needs some repairs. The lamp shades had some mold on them. The pool water was warm but the pool area needs some repairs. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because it was over priced. Overall not a bad place, and a convenient location.

Stayed two nights. Friendly staff. Nice room in the main lodge—beautiful view of the waterfront. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant onsite were also both good. A great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. My wife enjoyed the outdoor pool, but a little too hot for my liking. Would definitely come back.
