Op het eerste gezicht een mooi authentiek oud huis. Helaas is dat laatste een statement. Binnen is ook alles oud. Het werkt wel. Het allerergste, en dat blijkt ook uit de aanwezige verdelgingsmiddelen en de waarschuwing bij overdracht van de sleutel, is dat je niet buiten kan zitten in de enorme tuin, en dat met heerlijke zomerse temperaturen. De muggen vallen je met bosjes tegelijk aan. S'ochtends, s'middags en sávonds. Het maakt niet uit op welk moment van de dag. Mijn vrouw en ik, die laatste wordt normaal niet zoveel gestoken, zitten helemaal onder de rooie plekken. En aan de frutsels om de overlast te beperken te zien, is dit al een bekend probleem. Dit staat uiteraard niet in de specificaties.
