This was the most ramshackle place I have stayed in 76 years. It is in general poor condition. There were stains from an overflow of the toilet on the floor. There were holes in the linoleum. There was no TV. The room was heated with an old heater/AC. Going into the restaurant was a smoky hell from the casino. All at Holiday Inn prices. This motel has a monopoly on the area because there are no other hotels/motels for at least 60 miles. Gas prices are $1.00 more per gallon than 60 miles away. Best gas up in Ely or elsewhere in Utah before going to Baker Nevada and the Borderline Inn. The only redeeming quality of this place were the people at the motel. Special praise to Bob, Laura and James in making this place tolerable with their friendly service.
Rooms are old and dingy. No TV or coffee in the room. Very slow internet. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was good. Room was not worth the money but closest to Great Basin NP.
The rooms are clean, but pretty rough and very dated. No TV, spotty wifi, ran out of hot water when showering one person right after the other. The bed was one of the worse we've ever experienced. It was very creaky and you could feel each individual spring. You could see light under the door and there was a small pile of sand that blew in under the door overnight. The lady at check in was very nice and it is conveniently located near Great Basin National Park.

If you are staying here it’s probably because you couldn’t find anything else near the national park. It’s fine for 1, at most 2, nights but it’s really got the vibe of a run down motel.
Joe was AMAZING! So kind and friendly! It was exactly what my family needed to visit Great Basin National Park. They have a bar, casino, restaurant and gas station at the facility. Would stay again.

Pretty good as the only option in 'town'
As the only motel lodging within 80-100 miles in any direction, this is an IDEAL place for visiting Great Basin National Park. Great, friendly folks and a funky setup: The bar/restaurant/casino/convenience store are in Nevada; your room is in Utah, as are the gas pumps.

Right on The state line
Joe was awesome. He ran the restaurant orders, the general store, the bar and hotel and he did an excellent job
You are paying for proximity to Great Basin National Park. For over $100 per night, I expected more though. The bathroom had paper cups filled with soap, about to leak everywhere and the fixtures were barely functioning. The heating unit would not stay on and had to be reset throughout the night. The mattresses were extremely worn with no support left. There was a place where a TV had once been on the wall but was no longer present. And yet we could hear what sounded like a TV through the wall as we tried to sleep. Very disappointed … For $50/night fine, but not for $100+.
Very clean, comfortable, and warm room staying in November. The facilities are dated, but it was a very enjoyable stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
it's winter and cold and I arrived at night but staff was friendly, check in was easy and I was grateful for a pleasant place to sleep on my journey to CO. I'd stay here again for sure.
It has a little store, gas, a restaurant that's stays open late and opens early. Perfect

It was as expected. Very nice people but old property. Not much to do in the area, except visit the Great Basin NP. We visited in the off season (mid November) and most of the shops were closed.

The good part about the property is the convenient location.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, very convenient to have gas, a general store, and restaurant attached. Food at the restaurant was good for the price. It was an easy drive to Great Basin. There’s also an area to play pool and darts in the casino section which is fun.

For the area it was just fine. Everyone was friendly.
No Tv in the room
It was giid, The heater was automatically set to keep the room warm. So they definitely were generous there. Very interesting place. Right off 50, so you can be on the road in no time.
