We wanted to stay another day and the front staff made that possible. We had to move to another room but again the staff made it easy. Just a matter of moving our luggage to the second room ang the staff took care of everything.

Pros: Fantastic location underground heated parking Excellent pools & sauna Cons: Single ply toilet paper & Kleenex Thread bare sheets & towels Bedspread is not washable $14 a day to park TONS of fabric surface areas, all of which had stains of… something…on them Overall: The insanely EXPENSIVE room rates this hotel charges weighed against every opportunity they took to save a $$ dramatically impacts guest experience. Save your $$ and book elsewhere.

Overall a great place to stay. Pros: - Prime location right downtown and with 24 hr gas stations across the street. - Nice, newly renovated rooms. Hotel is overall very nice aside from some renovations going on, but such negative impact was limited. - Friendly and helpful staff. - Great Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. - Nice pool, hot tub, and steam room. - Underground heated parking. Cons (very minor): - Some renovation going on that made upstairs restaurant unavailable and hallway narrow. Was originally worried about noise but it was not an issue at all. - Underground parking can fill up completely at night, however when this happened a staff member was able to direct me to some extra space along a wall that I could park in. - Main room lightning controlled by switches was a bit dim and depressing. There are other lights in the room that could be turned on manually, and if so the room looks very nice, but was a little annoying having to do so. - No free breakfast or parking.

Great place to stay! Right in the main area of Banff downtown with all amenities and steps away from Starbucks! Staff were so helpful in making recommendations to our first visit in Banff and for things to do during our stay! Highly recommend this hotel and will book again.

The recent renovation of the rooms was lovely. My one big disappointment is they did not upgradw the room TV to Smart TV so guests can stream shows. Basic TV doesn't really cut it anymore

The property was great! The room was clean and quiet, and the staff fluffed it up daily while we were out hiking. The hot tub/pool area had a great ambiance with the lowered lighting at night and the smell of eucalyptus. The location of the lodge is great as it's right next to the center of town. It was easy to walk to restaurants, view the mountains, go to the historic Parks headquarters, etc. Although other reviewers mentioned difficulty in finding a parking space in the underground garage ($14/night), we never had a problem. We'd definitely return!
