This hotel is under reconstruction. I didn't know that at booking however the hotel did contact us regarding the renovations. Staff was very good at helping us to our room which was incovient to get to. They did give us free buffet breakfast plus 2 complimentary drinks in the lounge. Breakfast buffett was quite good.Our room was freshly redone with good upgrades. The weekend was quiet but Monday work resumed at 8 am. We didn't use the pool as getting to it requires going outside along the street or through the underground parking. The pool area looked good.

How to treat guests...

They are under construction so we had to go thru the parkade, then outside and back in to get to our room (we had a renovated one, nicely done!). The desk agent, I forgot to ask her name (slim blonde-hair Aussie gal, works 3-11 shift daily) personally walked us to our room, offering to carry bags too. They gave us free buffet breakfast for the inconvenience (which wasn't much) Outstanding customer service. Well done

Loved the steam sauna, rooms were newly renovated. Perhaps they could add robes to the rooms. The coffee was excellent. Very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was fabulous. Perfect location with quick access to everything.

The view was stunning but that is because it is Banff. They are having major renovations so some things were not available but the staff was extremely accommodating to make up for it. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of underground parking. It was on the edge of town so it was very quiet but an easy walk to many shops and restaurants.
