Great location, a little removed so a short walk to shops. Building well kept, clean and comfortable. My only negative was the pool area. A little dated and strong chlorine smell. Made it impossible to use. Staff and parking is a plus. Great decor. Banff spring feel without the hot to wallet.

The check-in person at the front desk seems not friendly with the cold welcome. He didn't explained clearly the parking (or we misunderstood the parking). We had the street parking near the hotel, and got the parking ticket next day, which ruined a little of our vacation. Even though the room looks very clean, I will not stay this hotel anymore.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Canadian Lodge! The executive suite was beautiful and large with mountain views. The bathroom had all the toiletries and space you could need. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. We were in walking distance to the downtown area. This hotel is a great option and I would stay there again!
