I chose this hotel based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, the negative ones felt closer to our reality. The experience was off from the start, with a rude and condescending receptionist, and a generally unwelcoming front desk staff. They didn’t smile or greet us during our stay, making every interaction feel cold.
The breakfast staff was no better—no acknowledgment, just a quick request for our room number, then back to chatting among themselves. The lack of warmth was striking.
The room seemed clean at first, but had a persistent musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. The same odor filled the hallways and elevators, though the lobby smelled fine, highlighting the lack of upkeep elsewhere. Additionally, poor soundproofing meant we could hear everything—hallway noise, neighbors, and footsteps above us—making it hard to rest.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, with repetitive, bland food and limited options.
However, a few staff members stood out. The housekeeper was incredibly kind, and the doormen were always helpful. The hotel’s location, near a mall and attractions, was a plus.
Overall, the hotel has potential but needs significant improvements in staff attitude, hospitality, and guest experience.
