The Montien is in a lovely spot and in close walking distance to a shopping mall. The rooms are in urgent need of modernisations but spacious and facilities adequate. I hate hotels that don’t have an ironing board and steam iron as standard in the closet. The AC unit even set to low is incredibly noisy. The desk chair is incredibly uncomfortable as a Business traveller. WiFi worked ok although not super fast and does drop out occasionally. The terrace restaurant is nice although other restaurant options in the hotel are limited. Breakfast is adequate but selection not extensive.

It was a good place to stay great view of the river from our room the only issue was the air-conditioning didnt hardly work its hard to sleep in an 80 degree room.

It once was a majestic hotel. You can tell by the structure and the decor. But it’s not being kept up. My mini refrigerator made lots of noise, but never do get cold or cool. The seals in the bathroom need to be recauled, mirrors are show the age with marks inside the mirrors. The breakfast is excellent, even eating there the lunch is excellent too. I ate at the Chinese restaurant for dinner awesome. It’s time to do some renovations update. It’s still worth staying, also the staff is amazing and helpful 🙏

Montien was a beautiful ornate building. Enjoyed our view of the river from our nicely sized room. Breakfast buffet was good, swimming pool was good, my spa treatment was good. We enjoyed that it was a little ways off from the busy part of Bangkok but we enjoyed that.

We stayed 12 nights, close to terminal 21 nice smaller mall close to seven eleven shop, staff friendly and helpful, swimming pool clean and nice, dinner meals were lovely and cheap i asked for sweet n sour chicken instead of fish and they were able to do that. Breakfast good selection but needed to be a bit hotter. Lovely cafe in hotel with cakes etc Hotel is older just needs some painting inside and out and some maintenance nice qrounds to sit outside music everynight. Thank you for the enjoyable stay would stay there again. T & C Cockle

Stay was good. Only small things was sheet had rip in it but as was on the edge didnt worry about it and were only staying for 2 nights, and had to get single beds pushed together as thought we had booked a double.
