My girst impression of the property was formed at check-in where it was pretty clear that the staff are over worked and under pressure. While courteous they were quite short. Its odd thst they walk away from the desk with the passport when there is ample technology available to enable scanning at their work station.
Rooms are spacious though the breakages list with associated replacement costs s typical of a low end facility. It left a bad taste in my mouth. There was mo television in the bedroom and the washing machine leaked when used.
My key card did not work at least half the time which required me to return from a high floor back down to the reception. Might be time to upgrade this equipment as it seemed to be causing difgiculties gor a number of guests.
The price for this hotel attracted me to stay but in the end was not sufficient to counter balance the experience. It wouldnt take alot to turn Urbana into a truly great experience. It would take alot of convincing for me to stay again in the future. And thats a pity as it has serious potential.
