Our room and the entire property was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of nice amenities. There were a few options for breakfast and all were delicious. The best part was sitting in the rockers on the expansive front porch! We had coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the evening. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Outstanding luxury hotel. Rooms reminded me of the DC Fairmont before the Fairmont was acquired by a hotel conglomerate and went to the dogs. Staff was excellent, as well. Perfect location for enjoying Bar Harbor and Acadia. Free onsite parking was great. Included continental breakfast was good, but pretty standard. Dozens of Restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

Bar Harbor Grand Hotel had such an inviting but also regal feel to it. The breakfast was outstanding. The gentleman running the breakfast hours went above and beyond and you could tell how hard of a worker he is. Definitely takes pride in his work and cannot say enough how wonderful he was. The only hiccup we had was upon check-in. The lady checking us in tried to pawn our check in process onto a gentleman. The room we were given was lovely, but someone smoked in it. The front desk was quick to arrange another room but denied that anyone smoked in the original one (it was extremely strong, and the room under it didn't smell at all). I'd rather hear accountability - especially since it wasn't their fault someone didn't adhere to the rules. My daughter loved all the treats and fruit flavored water options. I would stay here again.
