This high-end 2 bedroom bungalow, with loft, is a guest favorite. Airbnb marketed this cottage as one of their most `wish listed` listings in Fall 2024. Hadley Point Hideaway is adjacent to the owners residence and is designed for privacy. This bungalow is nestled in the woods on a desirable road for walking, running & biking. Hadley Point Beach & Hadley Point Campground are walking distance from the house. This house is 10 minutes from Bar Harbor and 5 minutes to the Acadia National Park entrance. Enjoy nature, solitude, and the nearby beach in this amazing house & location.

This bungalow is brand new and all about quality. We know how important a nice kitchen is! This high end kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a walk-in pantry, and a raised bar for eating. French door fridge, 5 burner propane convention oven, and super quiet dishwasher.

This bungalow has 2 bedrooms and a loft. The loft is accessed with a ships ladder. There is a TV in the loft and in the living room. There is a futon couch in the loft that can be used for sleeping if needed.

The bathroom is tiled with a custom tiled shower with bench.

Follow the paved, winding driveway to get to the house. Enjoy a private deck that leads to the bungalow and has beautiful views at sunset.

Guest will have access to the entire 2 bedroom bungalow & loft.

Bay View Drive is a desirable road for walking, running & biking. You can walk to Hadley Point beach from the house. The beach is ideal for launching a boat, looking for sea glass, or having a BBQ. This area is a perfect location for those who want to enjoy Acadia and Bar Harbor, but enjoy the solitude of nature and a quieter environment while you are home.

Hadley Point Hideaway is a 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor, and a 5 minute drive to the Acadia National Park entrance. The Island Explorer stops at the Hadley Point Campground which is walking distance from the house.

Our house is adjacent to this residence. Each residence has a private and separate entrance. We have chickens and an overly friendly golden doodle.

A great place to stay!!!

Hadley Point Hideaway was the perfect place for my wife, son and me to spend our Bar Harbor vacation! Close to everything, but far enough to be out of the touristy areas! We loved hiking through Acadia and enjoyed the great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this great VRBO experience!!!

Perfect retreat close to Acadia

Hadley Point Hideaway was a perfect stay while we explored Acadia. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location in a peaceful setting within a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The hosts were wonderful, the welcome binder had lots of helpful information and they offered to help if we had any questions about trails etc. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again next time we visit the area.

Immaculate and Comfortable!

The apartment was spotless and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location was fantastic. Sara was very responsive and provided great local tips. Overall, it was a great stay!

Place is very nice, very clean. Fully equipped kitchen, toy and books for the kids, really there is really nothing negative that can be said. Perfect home away home. Sarah’s recommendation were spot on. We have been in Acadia multiple times and this is by far the best place. I wish I knew it before. Next time we come to Acadia / Bar Habor we will stay here.

Our stay at this property was exceptional from the moment we arrived and welcomed by our host, Sara. Nestled in a beautifully wooded setting, the home offers a peaceful, private retreat while remaining just a short drive from Bar Harbor and conveniently close to one of the main entrances to Acadia National Park. The property itself was immaculate—every room was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked with everything needed for cooking and daily living, which made settling in effortless. We especially appreciated the soft, fresh linens and towels, the variety of comfortable sleeping options, and all the thoughtful extras throughout the home. The collection of books, games, and toys made it welcoming for guests of all ages. It’s clear the owners have put tremendous care into creating a space that is both beautiful and comfortable. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay near Acadia.
