Close to downtown. Staff was very polite. You can hear everyone as they walk by and snoring in the next room over BUT they had sound machines that helped drown out the noise.
We stayed for 3 nights while exploring the park and town. The hotel was ok. Not bad, but not great. We noticed how unfriendly the staff was that works here. The front desk people don’t acknowledge you. We found it bizarre considering the hospitality we were shown at the other small hotels we stayed at along our route. The room was adequate, however we didn’t know it would be so NOISY. As soon as people were up and about, we were woken up. That was super disappointing. The breakfast they offer is stale bagels, yogurt or a blueberry muffin. Again, it was adequate but disappointing compared to the other hotels we stayed at during the trip.
Not much I liked. I should have noticed red flags warned when I stepped on the stair carpet treads that were FILTHY and old. This filthy carpet continued up the stairs and into my room. The bathroom was so tiny... I almost couldn't close the door. The bathtub had caulking done by a third grader. In a different color from the tub.
Housekeeping didn't leave new towels, even though I followed the instructions to place used ones in the shower.
The room itself was very small. It had a balcony… maybe about 36”x 42” with mismatched tattered outdoor chairs from Dollar General.
The mismatched curtains (also probably from DG) were so lovely. 😩
All in all, I was very disappointed in my room at Queen Anne’s Revenge.
I did reserve the room in late June... So I got the only room left. Now I understand why.
The front desk staff were always very welcoming and kind. We were pleasantly surprised with a glass of champagne when we arrived. The room was beautiful! Loved having our little patio. My only minimal complaint would be the shower pressure, but at the end of the day, we would have traded that for more time to be able to stay there. We will definitely recommend this place for all our friends and family visiting the area and if we ever return!
Property was lovely. Rooms were clean and quiet. The staff members’ customer service was poor. We really did not encounter one person who had a smile or welcomed us. That’s customer service 101! Bed was not very comfortable, nor were the pillows. Breakfast options were not fantastic.
Perfect location with walking distance to everything...grocery store in the next block was a bonus. Nice large clean room. Nice staff. If we return we will stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We enjoyed how lovely the staff was and the cleanliness of the property. A lot of installations in the rooms. Like handles, hooks, and holders were incorrectly installed and not very functional. The location just has this amazing smell. Amd we loved playing shuffle board!
Wish there was more to the breakfast but I understand having to cut costs.
We were disappointed about not getting the room we reserved. Apparently it's been an issue with this place over booking. The pillows at this place seriously need an upgrade; very uncomfortable. The showers also need new shower heads. Do not get the queen bed, way too small. Despite these issues, we did have a very good honeymoon.
A nice hotel, a little pricey, but in a good area. The floors are at an angle due to age, there is no bellman to carry bags up flights of stairs, and no elevator. The receptionist was doing a half hearted job, and the morning breakfast was disappointing, especially as to the weak coffee.
Lovely place on a quiet street -walking distance to everything . Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Cute little bar to get a drink in the evening . Highly recommend!!
The Queen Anne’s provides walkable access to downtown bar harbor without the worry of parking.
The short drive to Acadia park was also a huge perk! Getting into the park early allowed us to beat the crowds.
Our room was perfect for the two of us!
During check-in we were told that our three night stay was going to be split up between two hotel rooms, due to a wedding reservation that had been booked a year ago.
The hotel manager made up for the inconvenience! He put us in another beautiful first floor king bed room, and left us a complimentary bottle of while wine in a chiller
Great touch!.
