We loved the locations proximity to our plans (Devil’s Lake) and there were a ton of great, early restaurants, breweries, winery’s. Also, close to the Dell’s for adventuring too.Bedrooms were spacious, kitchen was welcoming.

Very comfortable, exactly as advertised. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The hosts were very responsive. The location is central to anything you would want to do in Baraboo though you may have to drive some places.We could not get the roku on the TV to connect to the internet. So no TV this trip but there was plenty to do in town so we didn't miss it. House could have used a dusting, there were some large spiderwebs in several of the corners. Still, would absolutely stay here again.

House was exactly what we needed for a long weekend. Spent a lot of time at Mirror Lake and around the Baraboo area and was glad to return to a clean bed and cold AC.

This was perfect for our guys trip golfing in the dells. The only thing we were disappointed by was the pictures showed a nice fenced in area in the back so we brought yard games to play, however the grass was never cut in the back. Overall though it was good! Jordan was excellent communicating with. Would stay again.

We didn’t spend much time in the house. Got in late and left early. But the house was clean and easy and we were close to downtown, which is what we wanted.

Cleanliness was not satisfactory

This property has an outstanding location. However, while the house had some cleaning performed (e.g. vacuuming, dusting) before we arrived, there were several concerning things we noticed during our stay. For example, the sheets had obviously not been cleaned, with some form of reddish/brownish sauce-like substance on one of the comforters, and all the beds still having hair in them. The wall by the back door had a large reddish/orange handprint (sauce? blood?) on it, which was concerning. Lastly the shower still had large clumps of hair in it from the last visitors. Overall, while this is a nice rental property, we were disappointed by these hygiene related issues.

Great Home

Stayed for one night with 4 kids and 3 adults - home was very clean and had everything we need. Only complaint is I had to reach out to owners to get check in information. Owners never reached out on their own regarding stay - wasn’t sure what I need to do when I left. Lack of communication seemed strange. (Note: when I reached out, they did respond in a timely manner).

Privacy and Safety Concerns

The house was almost great. It was clean, quiet, and in a great area. There were some basics missing in the house like a broom or vacuum. Or a large mixing bowl. But the loss of stars came from two larger issues. One of the 3 bedrooms shared a see through fire place with the living room. Offering no privacy at all. You couldn't even change in your room without being on display to the rest of the house. In addition, the house had no deadbolt on the front door. Now I've spent a lot of my life in Baraboo. So I know it's a safe town and a safe area. But this is still a major safety concern. All the rental homes I've stayed in that have digital access pads, have the pad on a solid deadbolt. This one was on the door handle. It wouldn't have been hard for someone to gain access to the home if they wanted to. And ultimately, that is the reason for the low stars.

Great getaway spot

5 of us fit comfortably, including the dog. The back yard is great for the dogs. It's a quick walk to downtown for dinner, or to the riverwalk for nature hike. Short drive to Devil's Lake for even better hiking.
