The hotel itself was beautiful; with great staff, perfect and convenient location, and comfortable, clean rooms. The noise, though, was on a different level. I barely slept the two nights I was there. I could hear clear conversation every time someone was outside the room, which seemed to be more often than not (maybe it was just the location of my room). Whether it was people in the hall or the room/ balcony next to me, clearly paper thin walls as I am up to date on all my Neighbor’s tea! I also paid to upgrade for a balcony with city view, which really was a tiny view of one street and the other 75% looking at a construction site & parking garage. Would not spend the money for this again. Next time try marketing such a room as a “partial” view so you’re not ripping people off.

The location was perfect, the staff attentive and quick and the room clean and comfortable. We loved that you needed a room key to go up in the elevator. That's a big thing, Also, we needed to store our bags for a few hours before we left and they made it so easy and comfortable for us to hang out for a few hours in the lobby.

Location is good staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent, but unfortunately the room given to me was way in the back, supposed to be quite away from street was not in good share. Airconditioning did not work, it was in the middle of the night to call maintenance, the light switches were malfunctioning. You had to bang on them to stay on. I notified the front desk staff about my experience of the room.

Every request was met with pure professionalism. Michael the security officer Was exceptional. Bringing extra pillows to the room and Supplying me with a wheelchair when I had sprained my ankle. Purchase breakfast every day that you are there. It is exceptional and cannot be missed. Staying in 4 different countries in Europe this was the best. If only we had started our 3 week journey with such quality. We were blessed to end with it, even so!!!

The room and bathroom were clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. Good storage for luggage and items. Free mini bar. The staff were nice and helpful. The location was very close to the metro and other public transport. Walking distance from the centre of Barcelona. No complaints.
