4/10 Poor

We spent one night there and found other accommodations. This would have been great for someone out of college who had decided to take a GAP year and travel Europe or for people there for job purposes, such as construction. The location left a little bit to be desired. You weren’t right in the middle of dining, shopping, bars, etc. From the front bedroom there was a good deal of street noise during the night and early morning, making it a challenge to sleep. The stairs to the apartment were dark and a bit much when trying to maneuver luggage. The kitchen was nice and the dining room had nice furnishings. The living room was fairly well decorated but one piece of furniture should be replaced. The bathrooms could use some improvements. The lighting was not good. The towels were well worn and should be replaced with new ones. There was laundry left in the washing machine containing towels, dish cloths, and from what we could tell, cleaning rags. The bed linens needed to be updated. They may have been clean but the overall appearance was dirty. The balcony was not suitable for anything other than a place to smoke. It was not a place to hang out with coffee or wine and spend some time chatting. Overall, polite owner, but was a bit abrupt at first over the phone. But further into the conversation he became friendly and was friendly in person. Very disappointed in the overall comfort of the place and location.
