Leider war es nich wirklich toll. Die Möbel im Zimmer sind teilweise defekt, Bei den Nachttischen hat es keine Steckdose für Handy usw. und das TV Gerät ist auch eher dürftig. Leider war auch das Mineralwasser (eigentlich mit Kohlensäure) bereits schon einmal geöffnet und in der Dusche macht sich der Schimmel breit.

Our balcony room had a lovely lake view. There was no ac or fan, but in early June opening the door gave enough relief. I imagine in the warmer months, this could be unbearable. Thebrrakfaat was great.

Room was ok. Small and needed some updating. Beds weren't very comfortable and pillows are very flat and small. (most places we stayed were like that though). The balcony we had overlooked the lake (outdoor terrace was beneath us and sitting areas that you can use down near the lake. They had several lounge chairs and couches down near the water. Beautiful view from our room. Breakfast buffet (fruit/lox/breads/croissants, some sweets/jams/cereal/coldcuts/cheeses) was included and was very good. Love the coffee/expresso/cappuccino machines that all the hotels have. We walked around to the lake picnic area down the road (20 minutes). Went to Lucerne for the day. Everything closes early (stores, some restaurants) in Switzerland so start out early.

Five-Star Stay at Hotel Seerausch – Thanks to Francesco! I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, a relaxing atmosphere, and clean, comfortable rooms that made the whole experience feel truly special. A big shoutout to Francesco, whose knowledge and helpfulness really stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, offering great tips and making us feel truly welcome. His warm and professional approach added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area—I'll definitely be coming back!

Not to the standard expected

The position of the hotel was not lakeside as expected although the view from balcony was exceptional. Our large room was ill-equipped with only one chair at the desk, no armchairs, only one socket that was already in use for an essential lamp standard, (an extension lead was eventually found hidden behind the wall mounted TV). The bathroom was very small with a very small shower area with a glass door that would nor close properly and a WC. The wash basin was in the bedroom. The hotel had been informed in advance that my wife needed a gluten-free diet. This was emphasized on arrival and again on ordering dinner but when the ordered dish was delivered and queried it turned out that it contained gluten and was not suitable. My wife had a meal of starter only.

Stayed for 1 night. Had a late check-in due to flight but was still accommodated. Check-out was easy. Breakfast was delicious. The room was tidy and was spacious enough for two people with two large suitcases. The closet space was good. The bathroom was clean. Didn’t need heating not sure if it works. The view from the room and from the dining area is the best part. Hotel has elevators and stairs. Parking available out in front of hotel.

We booked two adjacent rooms for us and the children as an intermediate stop for our trip back home from Italy to NL. We arrived around 16:00 and we had some drinks on the terrasse. It has a beautiful view over the lake. Diner was also good. The pricing is probably normal for CH, but we paid around 315 Euro for a main course meal, two deserts, 4 Aperol spritz drinks, 3 bottles of water and 3 plates of olives/ bread. It’s still expensive compared to Italy of Netherlands. The outside temperate was 27 Celsius, and the rooms did not have climate control. So we hardly slept. It was too warm. The window was open, but then we had the noise from the road. So in conclusion: A nice place, but not perfect.
