Our residence once housed quarry workers—the Cava Bonati, used to extract stones for Bergamo’s UNESCO Venetian walls. It’s just 700 meters from the ancient Porte San Lorenzo (formerly Garibaldi), a historic passage of Garibaldi’s Thousand.
