Unethical behaviour from staff

Firstly I have never written a negative review before. My treatment at this hotel was appalling. I was abused in a very bad way by restaurant staff when going to breakfast 15 minutes early. It was Easter Sunday and hotel changed breakfast from 6:30am to 8am. Staff at reception day prior suggested I go to breakfast early as I had an 8am all day tour. They said all food may not be out but eat what was. As I was on tour I tried talking via app. I did get a very bland apology from a staff member via the app. Treatment was so bad – hotel should have got relevant staff member to apologise. Or perhaps a sincere chat with a manager or a sincere handwritten note. If I had spoken to hotel staff the way they spoke to me – security would have been called and probably asked to leave. My conversation in the app was cold on there part and I felt they were sweeping under the carpet. Do not stay at this hotel as if something goes wrong – you will not be supported.

It was a good location. About a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel to get to the tour guide pick up locations. About a 5 to 10 minute walk to the light rail train which can take you to the airport and other tourist spots. A lot of restaurants and shops also within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Millie at the front desk was amazing. She was so helpful, gave us things to see and do, helped us with dinner reservations, and was incredibly kind. One of our party was not feeling well and she went above and beyond to help get us into our rooms. I would stay there again just for that level of service. The location was great and the view was amazing.

Weekend trip to Bergen

Very nice stay at the Clarion Admiral, which has a first class location across the harbour from the UNESCO world heritage Bryggen houses. Lovely views from the room. Bergen harbour area is easily walkable from the hotel. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. No parking on site however - public indoor parking several hundred meters from hotel.
