Nice hotel but the dining area open to the lobby and entry doors made it feel cold. Also, our barn door/ pocket door to the bathroom was broken and could not be moved to close even a little bit which is unacceptable.

The room was spotlessly clean and very suitable for a brief stay. The highlight is the location, just a couple of minutes walk from the airport terminal! Incredibly close, but surprisingly quiet! Slept perfectly.

The room was clean, the staff were very courteous. The good points: 1. Very convenient to the airport and train station. 2. Accessing Berlin was easy using Airport Express and the are other public transportations readily available. 3. It was really good for what I needed. I was only make a short stop in Berlin. If I was staying more that 1-2 nights I would stay elsewhere. 4. The rooms were very small, two people easy get in each other's way. The bad: 1. If you arrive early and want to check-in, there is a 10 euro per hour charge. I travel extensively and I have never encountered this. 2. If you want to have coffee or tea in your room, it is a 10 euro upgrade. 3. There are limited eating options in the area. Basically the airport or the hotel. The restaurant is a little pricey and the food is really only mediocre. Would I recommend this hotel? With a qualified "yes", if you only need a short-term place. For longer term, "no".

We had 21 people that KLM/AirFrance stranded in Germany for 7 days with 6 different canceled flights. The hotel staff here took care of us and we're so extremely friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond and even though we did not know until the morning of each day if we were staying again and how many rooms we were going to need, they checked in on us and allowed us to continuously stay in our rooms. Because of the staff even in a very stressful and chaotic situation they made their hotel a comfortable and safe space for us. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
