We came to Berlin for the marathon and loved staying at the NH Collection Berlin! It was clean and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of options! I wish I had known the breakfast was so good so that I could have purchased breakfast when I booked the room. The location is also perfect (centrally located) with a train stop right across the street and so much within walking distance.

Comfortable hotel in a convenient location.

Large modern room. Quiet despite being on a busy road. Very convenient location close to train station and in walking distance of many sights. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel but plenty of options nearby. Pleasant staff.

Highly recommended!

The hotel is right next to Friedrichstrasse station so it is super convenient to move around Berlin. The room is spacious and well equipped. Highly recommended if you are visiting Berlin for the first time.

My stay at this hotel was highly disappointing. Several in-room issues stood out: the security box didn’t work, the air conditioner was extremely loud and disrupted my sleep, and the curtains were dirty and stained. The mattress and headboard were damaged, and parts of the flooring were peeling. However, the most serious problem was the attitude of the staff. When I asked to change rooms, I was told there were no alternatives. Upon asking if there was any possible solution, I was met with a harsh retort: “Didn’t you hear what I said?” The next morning, another staff member responded in the same dismissive manner. At no point did anyone offer an apology. This appears to reflect a broader issue with customer service at this hotel. Other points: free bottled water was only provided at check-in, and out of three elevators, one was always out of service while another often malfunctioned. Though the lobby was nicely decorated, it felt like the rooms and facilities had been neglected. The positives were limited to strong shower pressure, effective soundproofing, and a convenient location near the station. Still, considering the price, there are far better options elsewhere. I will not be staying here again.

Breakfast and location are nice. However, our room had bed bugs and their bites were heavily annoying. The only response from the hotel was, they will clean the beds right after we left so that the next guests will not have the same inconvenience. Also they hoped, our next stay (seriously?) will be better. Not even a word or recognition of an apologize. Also our room safe didn’t work. Although we reported it at arrival, they did not take care at all for the whole three days of our stay.
