Loved the style and “vibe” of the hotel. Beds were super comfy and breakfast was good. The croissants were especially fresh and tasty! The breakfast service has room for improvement though.

Stunning hotel right where you wanna be

Imposing building recently renovated steeped in history. Room was very spacious overlooking the Berlin TV Tower. Check in was easy, welcoming as was the superb room we had. Breakfast is first class and we enjoyed it twice. Check-out went smoothly too and they held our bags so we Could do more touring of Berlin. Will be our go-to hotel for all things Berlin in future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Telegraphement, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few notable exceptions. Pros: • Exceptional Service: Upon my early morning arrival, I intended only to drop off my luggage. However, the front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, striving to secure an early check-in. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were impressive, with both the coffee and food meeting high standards. • Comfortable Room: Facing inside the courtyard(?), my room provided a tranquil and cozy retreat, ensuring restful nights. • Prime Location: Situated adjacent to Museum Island, the hotel offers immediate access to cultural landmarks. Additionally, numerous restaurants and the charming Neun Drei cafe are just a short stroll away. Cons: • Inconsistent Dining Options: I was disappointed to find the Root Restaurant closed due to a private event on my first day and not operating at all on the second. This limited my dining choices within the hotel. However, drinking and dining at The Root Bar was a great experience. Gustav was a very accommodating. • Bathroom Design Flaw: The shower in my bathroom had drainage issues, leading to water leakage, exacerbated by the poor floor design, suggesting it might be a known issue that hasn’t been addressed. Absolutely despised their “natural” shampoo and conditioner. Made my hair all sticky and oily. Overall I loved staying at the hotel and will gladly return and recommend.

Lovely hotel. Good location and delicious breakfast! Would recommend the bar for cocktails and a nice ambience. However staff were inefficient and not very apologetic when things went wrong. When we checked in they took a credit card for incidental costs and also charged the full room rate for 3 nights stay plus breakfast, which we had already paid for. At a restaurant on our first night, our overseas payment card had insufficient funds as they had wiped out almost our full balance. All very embarrassing and time consuming as we had to contact the bank, transfer funds and wait for identity to be validated etc. to pay the bill. It took until our day of departure before the funds were returned, over 900 Euros!!
