This historic hotel has loads of character and is a marvellous central location. I would suggest that it needs some decorative TLC but my room was large and with 2 huge floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. Room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I met some of the hospitality staff and they were welcoming and cheerful. I would definitely return.

It was a little bizarre to ‘check yourself in’ to a hotel and I’m sure in the winter months it might feel even more strange BUT everything had been thought about.
