Ideal location for Holy Island! Extremely clean rooms with towels, hairdryer, ironing board, tea/coffee facilities.
Food is fantastic and breakfast was included which was delicious. Great customer service.
Would I go again….most definitely

Disappointing, we were expecting a cozy stay in a country house like hotel but instead it was a rather dingy, viewless motel room in a tartan carpeted Little Chef. The fireplaces were not lit and there was no comfy seating beside them. The comfiest spot in the bar was reserved for dog-owners. The hotel seemed to have an over-friendly to dog attitude at the expense of their guests. Likewise dinner was a Weatherspoon type meal and service (as in order and pay at the bar) at eye watering Country House Hotel prices. What character the charming building had, had sadly been chain-branded over with adverts to sign up to the Inn Collection app and three for two deals. It did have a nice walk in shower though.
From the min we arrived staff were helpful & polite, our room was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable (best sleep i.v had in a while), room temp was lovely & warm & easily adjusted, food was delicious & good value.
Shower was nice, good water pressure.

We booked here as we could have our dog stay with us and it was a convenient half way stop from near Inverness to Coventry. The room was fabulous and bed really comfortable, however, it was very noisy because of the A1 and the traffic namely Lorries which kept us awake all night. Otherwise it was ok
Rooms were clean, but a little soul-less. Staff were lovely and always smiling. There is a noisy kitchen fan on during the day, but it is switched off at about 9, so it was not an issue for sleeping.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower.
Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to.
Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful
