Great service, awful beds and bad pool times

Good: staff, service, breakfast. Bad: uncomfortable bed with very bouncy mattress. You and your partner will not get any sleep. Pool: open only during inconvenient times like 11am to 2pm and 7pm to 9pm, then closed so they can make money from the swimming lessons. An outrage. Save your and stay elsewhere.

Top hotel. Rooms were perfect with two doubles separated by a door, using one sofa. Breakfast excellent with fruit, such a rarity in the US. Near a shopping mall. Drive able to DC in about 25 mins. Gym excellent and pool was being filled. Perfect stay! Would return.

We are return customers because we had positive previous experiences. The only reason I gave 3 stars for the property condition and facilities this time is because the pool wasn't available when we visited. I booked this on Expedia so if Embassy Suites is able to update the facilities status there, that would be helpful. But the next time I visit the area, I would stay here again.

2 issues we experienced. They closed the swimming pool for a week where kids are on spring break went on family trip. Swimming pool was the number 1 attraction of my kid. It was disappointing. 2nd issue was for king size bed it was smaller bed littler bigger than queen size bed but definitely not king size. I have 2 king size beds at my home. Anyways besides these 2 issues everything was fine. Clean room every day. Outstanding job by housekeeping team. Good breakfast. Good location.

We were unhappy at this hotel because our room was only cleaned 1 time during our 4 days stay. It was spills on the hall ways and it took 3 days until they cleaned the spills. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and we needed to put on the sheets ourselves. It was only 3 towels in the room even though we booked the hotel for 4 people. The pool was opened the first 2 days, and closed the other 2 days because of maintenance which was not stated when we booked the hotel. The kids were looking forward to use the pool, but that was a big disappointment. It was a self parking at the hotels garage which you needed to pay for each night you stayed. That is the first time I need to pay for a parking at a hotel. The manager was not caring and believe you when we complained that the housekeeper didn’t clean our room. The only good thing with this hotel was the breakfast!
