Outside, there is a private, non-enclosed front decking with furniture, a shared front lawn with barbecue hut, and parking available. One well-behaved pet welcome, but sorry, nno smoking. Shop 1.7 miles, pub 1.6 miles, beach 1.1 miles, lake 0.3 miles. Barley Bay adventures await. Note: Step down to lawn from decking area, please take care. Note: Guests have access to the on-site lake. Note: All cabins are closed from 21st Jan until 7th February and June 6th until June 9th.

Alternatively the nearby coastal headland of Berry Head, with its dramatic cliffs and coves, offers excellent walking and nature-watching opportunities. The pretty, car-free village of Clovelly lies just five miles away and is renowned for its flower-strewn cottages, steep cobbled streets, 14th-century harbour, and The Milky Way Adventure Park, home to Devon's biggest rollercoaster, whilst a short drive leads to another fun-packed and educational family day out at The Big Sheep, a fantastic adventure park. The unspoilt coastal resorts of Bude, Bidefor,d and Instow are both within 15 miles making this a superb base for a varied and enjoyable holiday.
