Inn The Mountain

This cozy 2 bedroom home is located right east of Big Bear Lake. There is plenty of parking with a single cover port as well. There is brand new carpet with all new furniture, mattresses, tv, etc. Both bathrooms have been touched up with new flooring, vanity, and lighting. This is an upside down home which the kitchen and living room is located on the 2nd floor. There is a good size balcony deck with a bench to lounge outside to enjoy the sun or snow. Enjoy the high speed internet and smart tv.

Beautiful home

We loved our stay at this beautiful bright home, the modern style of the home is very pretty. The owner of the home is very communicatable. I also love the insurance feature that comes with this house just in case anything goes wrong, definitely get the insurance!!

Nice view, cozy house

James was good in communication, check in and check out were easy, the house has everything we need and kept us warm for the night. The backyard view is really nice, we really enjoyed it in the morning walking around the area. The only downside is the insulation is pretty bad, the neighborhood was very quiet at night which is a good thing, because it was so quiet outside we can hear pretty much anything was happening in the house even what our friends talking at a low noise level in the other room and upstairs plus the heater sounds like louder at night too. We didn't have a straight sleep because of that, and my friends told me the same thing the next day, also the house is smaller than it looked from the pictures so expecting those won't make you disappointed. But overall it was a good experience, it just created some awkward moments between us and we laughed talking about it

Great lounge.

I am not into criticising but a fair review is important - the constant noise from the busy road outside the property came as a real surprise. The deck was very basic anyway but the road noise made it difficult to enjoy. The property was ok in other respects - the lounge was the best point with a lovely fire, good furniture and tv. After this review I doubt I would be welcome back but wouldn’t stay again.

Great Host; Clean Place

The host is terrific. James brought us sleds even though we stayed only 2 nights. He provided them simply because he wanted us to enjoy the stay. We did! The house is along E. Big Bear Blvd. We were out most of the day so the traffic did not bother us (it is quieter at night). The upstairs of the house is very comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The furniture is new. The 2 bedrooms are downstairs with an adjoining bathroom that lays out well. We mentioned that the blown air heaters in the bedrooms are a bit noisy, but that would not stop us from recommending the place since the owner is so terrific and the place impeccably clean. We really appreciated the hospitality.

Overall satisfied

I wanted to book a quick getaway and this location was perfect. It was clean, cozy, and CLEAN. Which I loved and felt so very comfortable. The house is on a little bit of a busy street but other than that everything was good. Owner was also so quick to respond when I had any questions. I would book again here.
