The property was quiet, away from town a few minutes. The hosts were so friendly and wonderful to us. The bungalows were in very good shape and very clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Simply wonderful!! Great location, beautiful scenery with lots of toucans and other birds on the property. The villas are brand new, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. Nilla and Stéphane were extremely attentive and friendly and had great recommendations for activities in the Bijuagua region. A real gem.

What a GEM! If you want peace and tranquility with amazing customer service this is your place. The cabins are adorable and the landscape is gorgeous! They have a beautifully landscaped trail to a river. We only planned on an 2 night stay but we enjoyed this place so much we extended our stay. The owners thought of everything possible to make this the gem it is! Gracias!

Extended our stay!

Villa el Tucan is a gem with impeccable service! Bijagua is a cute little village close to Rio Celeste with this new adorable lodge. The owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The cabins are cozy, clean, airy, and they even have screens on their windows and sliding glass door. Great lil porch to relax and enjoy the view. They even added a short walking trail to a refreshing river! They have thought of everything!

Jeden Tag gab es ein von den Gastgebern zubereitetes Frühstück. Wir waren drei Nächte dort und es gab einmal typisches Frühstück aus Costa Rica, einmal aus Kanada und einmal typisch amerikanisch. Zusätzlich gab es immer frisches Obst, Bananen aus dem Garten

Vorab: Jederzeit würden wir wieder hier buchen, auch länger bleiben als 2 Nächte, da die Region rund um das Hotel viel Natur und Erholung bietet. Positiv Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war sehr gut, sowohl vor als auch während des Aufenthaltes. Hinzu kommt, dass hier mit viel persönlichem Engagement und liebe zum Detail, eine sehr schöne Bungalow Anlage erbaut wurde. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und ein privater Rundgang durch die Natur, vorbei an Teichen und einem Bach, ist sehr schön. Die Bungalows, in unterschiedlicher Größe, fügen sich gut in das gesamte Bild ein. Wir hatten einen „kleinen“ Bungalow, sehr sauber und gepflegt, top Klimaanlage, modernes Badezimmer. Frühstück und Abendessen werden frisch und abwechslungsreich zubereitet, sind lecker und man wird satt. Die Besitzer unterstützen bei der Planung für Aktivitäten, buchen diese wenn gewünscht. Alle Tipps und Buchungen waren sehr schön und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Futterstation für die Vögel sind beim Frühstück ein absolutes Highlight. Tukane und jede Menge andere Vögel von Groß bis Klein, leisten während des Frühstücks in sicherem Abstand Gesellschaft. Hier sollte man sich die Zeit nehmen und die Kamera dabei haben. Wir haben uns bei Stéphane und Nillareth sehr wohl gefühlt und wünschen weiterhin viel Erfolg bei der Verwirklichung ihrer Träume. Nein, es gibt wirklich nichts negatives, sonst würde ich es schreiben…

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Villa el toucan. Les chambres sont très propres, spacieuses et parfaitement équipées. Le jardin est magnifique. Nillareth et Stéphane sont adorables et font tout leur possible pour que le séjour soit exceptionnel.

Belle propriété avec bungalows tout neufs et très mignons. On a même vu un paresseux dans un arbre. Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. Repas et petits déjeuners très bons. Les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours prêts à rendre service.

Un petit coin de paradis au cœur de la nature! On a adoré notre séjour à la Villa El Tucan ! Dès notre arrivée, Stéphane et Nillareth nous ont accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable. Le chalet était super propre, confortable, et les espaces communs bien entretenus. L’endroit est vraiment paisible, parfait pour décrocher. On a eu droit à une petite visite du domaine avec Stéphane, qui nous a montré plein de choses intéressantes : bananiers, ananas, chauves-souris, fourmis coupe-feuilles… c’était top ! Et que dire du déjeuner typique costaricain qu’ils nous ont préparé ? Un régal ! On a vraiment senti que tout était fait avec cœur. Merci encore pour ce super moment, on espère sincèrement revenir très bientôt !

Sejour fabuleux avec des hotes aux petits soins. Tout etait parfait meme les conseils des restaurants. Pour un sejour proche du rio celeste c'est le lieu ideal et ne pas hésiter a prendre un diner sur place. Ce fut fort sympathique a un tarif tres raisonnable

Quel bonheur d’y séjourner ! Un endroit tellement charmant, on s’y sent bien dès le premier instant. La végétation luxuriante, les toucans et nombreux oiseaux, la rivière accessible à la baignade sur le terrain, sans oublier la piscine et l’aire de yoga font de la Villa El Tucán un véritable oasis de détente. Les chalets sont modernes, impeccables et correspondent exactement à la description fournie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’intimité du site ainsi que les délicieux déjeuners et soupers cuisinés/servis sur place par les propriétaires (aidés par une aimable employée). L’endroit où ils cuisinent est d’une propreté irréprochable. Pour terminer, nous avons vu les propriétaires travailler sur leur site du matin jusqu’au soir; on voit tout l’amour et l’attention qu’ils portent à leur projet et celà se ressent dès les premiers instants. Ils ont à cœur le confort de leurs clients et s’assurent constamment que ceux-ci aient un séjour à la hauteur de leurs attentes, tout en respectant leur intimité. Nillareth et Stéphane, vous pouvez être fiers de votre réalisation, merci d’avoir rendu notre séjour tellement agréable !
