Just get up earlier and drive

Underwealming stay, halls were scruffy and tried. Lift seemed very outdated and had stickers over buttons. Peeling bath fllor, drilled filled holes everywhere, chipped bath porcelain, tv miles from the bed and no convinient plugs. Very uncomfortable loud bed. Bouncer on the door in a very rough area of the city

The hotel states onsite parking, that’s a joke. Staff are rude. Place needs overhauling to the point of bulldozing to the ground

Very dated inside. Felt very safe due to security guards at front of hotel on Saturday night. There was an incident when I arived. Area around hotel was 'rough'.

Cheap and cheerful

The hotel is clean and basic so good for the price. Check in was awful, it took half an hour and no apology for the wait. There is no parking despite it being advertised on here as free parking.

£15 early check in is a bit steep

Arrived early but early check in was £15 so we just left the bags with them and went out. Request for a room with a bath was met, which was wonderful. Toilet was seperste to bathroom which was strange but both were clean and the bed comfortable.

You get what you pay for.

Dated but clean hotel. In need of a refurbishment. Radiator in room didn't work, plugged heater in but room was still cold. Otherwise quiet, and staff helpful. Parking was off site, not as described, and payable. OK for price paid (Hotels.com kindly refunded our parking cost too)

Enjoyable stay

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel very central and good value for money. Decor a bit dated and hotel needs a bit of a refresh but was clean and staff helpful. Would certainly stay again.

Wifi is bad in the rooms on high floors

Hotels.com advertised free onsite parking but this is not available. Had trouble with the wifi but this seems to be the norm with Btittania hotels. It happened in Blackpool and the receptionist admitted its a problem in a lot of their hotels in rooms on high floors. Room was clean with a nice bath as I'd requested. The bed was a little uncomfortable for us but we both have back problems so it would probably be OK for other people.

Hotel is Dated but OK Base for One Night

Stayed for one night whilst on a business trip to Coventry. Hotel was quite tatty and dated. Room was comfortable though and had a great view over the cathedral. Check in was simple enough but staff weren't overly friendly, it just seemed like a process and lacked a welcome. Price was reasonable.
