Nice for a quick stay

Not sure why hotels are still doing double beds instead of queen size beds. That made it a tight squeeze for us. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. The carpet could use a cleaning, but overall, the room was clean and spacious.

My husband and I had two events this weekend in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. We arrived in town about 3 hours before check in. Even though we were early, they allowed us to go ahead and check into our room. That was a huge convenience for us because we were able to unload and get ready before going to Tuscaloosa.

Staff were friendly. Building/room felt like it was in rough condition. Broken items in the rooms- like the bathroom sink faucet- usable but blasted the water out. AC was very loud, and the hotel is located next to a very loud, busy street and is easily heard in the room.
