Apart from the lift not working, my room smelt of Piss. But saying that, the room was spacious, BUT very dated and under whelming. The TV was good, but had to sleep in my long johns. If you have whisky and beer, then the stay is bearable.

The staff are nice but the rest was not worth the money the lift did not work The stairs where not very clean as for the f room the carpet was stained the window had a draft coming though the heating did not work The dressing table was all marked on it The cups where dirty as for the bed you could feel the springs though it the quilt did not fit the bed and the pillows where not very clean

Check in staff very helpful. Room and whole building very basic. Easy to see why hotel is cheapest in town. If all you need is somewhere to sleep for a night this place is OK.

Room fire alarms kept going off, cold even woth heater on, no tv remote. but otherwise room was clean as was the bathroom, provided an iron kettle and fridge with tea and coffee.

The staff were efficient. There was some work happening during the day so it was very noisy with building work sounds and the carpets in the hall was covered in building dust. The bed was very soft in the middle

Absolute shed

No remote for tv so couldn’t be used, receptionist couldn’t be less interested in anything. Place looked like it was falling apart literally, room was in shocking condition, shower was knackered and held on by duct tape, the only area of efficiency was the regular police vans taking people away in cuffs

Only thing good was free parking clean sheets and a pub next-door. The carpet in .my room was rank and smelt of urine. The hotel is in a dire need of renovation. The man at reception was surly and no charisma.
