Apartment at the very top. Set of stairs, then another steep set with smaller steps. Hard to carry luggage up. Requested king bed but received 2 single beds. No problem as joined together. By doing this the floor was disgusting with cigarette ends, old food everywhere. I messaged host to have this cleaned or leave me the vacuum so I could quickly do it as I never had time to wait. Host told me where this was and did the vacuum myself. Not something id be expecting to do on arrival. On the night trying to get the sofa bed ready was tricky as was trying to figure out how to put it together. I messaged the host and got a few words telling me to pull the bed out like a draw. We figured that out regardless. But no follow up message to check if all was ok. Anyway we managed however we could. No further mesage to ask if we got it sorted! Beds were comfy, location was ok. Onto the shower...you would either get hot boiling water or freezing cold water or it would just cut off completely in between. We have never experienced anything like this. I couldn't leave the kids alone to have a shower because of this. Was there any point in messaging the host..not really. As they didn't even bother checking up when asking about the beds. GET THE SHOWER SORTED!

We checked in, and the apartment hadn’t been serviced from the previous guests. We called the emergency number and was given the apt next door but it wasn’t what we booked - it was a twin and we booked a king size. The whole place stank of cannabis as you walked in that permeated through the whole staircase and into the apartments. It was very cold, with no instructions on how to make the heaters work
