Bed is waterbed. One bed only. Recliner is the second stated bed. Owner did offer an air bed if recliner is not good enough. AC is weak. Very warm summer nights. AC in bathroom is stronger so had to keep bathroom door ajar at night. Host is nice. Ok with pets (even though description says pets are allowed, host requested an advanced notice of bringing a pet). Nice neighborhood. Close to campus. 12-15 minutes driving.

Room did not sleep four, doom room sized refrigerator was not turned on and its door was open, the trash can in the hosts kitchen had waste in it. My Daughter and I did not stay there. Only one bed. We went elsewhere.

Clean property, host is paranoid

Our host upbraided me in person and in electronic communication about using the refrigerator in the "shared fully equipped kitchen." He reprimanded me for adjusting the ceiling fan speed. Despite the nice property, it was a nerve wracking stay.

Place was clean and easy to stay at. However, we did not like the fact that the property owner was in the property during our stay, it felt like we were in their space and felt weird. The communication was disturbing, the way he talked to us got us scared. It was creepy in a way. Overall, it was okay.

Bloomington football weekend

The host was great and very accommodating. I needed a place to sleep and shower without spending a fortune during a Big 10 game weekend. The location is about an 8 minute drive from campus/$10 Uber. I will come back again on another game weekend when I am flying solo as this property was perfect for me!

Great value!

Host Eugene is wonderful! Very responsive. Nice neighborhood with good sidewalks to walk for exercise. Close to IU campus (10-15 min drive). Great price.

Exactly as advertised. Affordable and super clean. Host is responsive to any questions and a good guy. Was a perfect solution for 1 person for a couple nights needing somewhere to sleep. If apprehensive, renting a room is a just like renting a room in a hotel, but in a house.

As an introvert in town for the weekend to visit friends, I needed my own space to decompress. The facilities were great and I didn't need to interact with anyone the entire time I was here, which was ideal. Personal codes were provided beforehand for the exterior door and the interior door to my room, which made everything smooth.

Delightful and artful

The host was very kind and I truely enjoyed the aesthetic of the home. As an artists myself, if needed a place to go to think clearly and write, i would want to stay in this home. It has an open concept for the main area and the bed room although simple was also spacious for me and a friend. The only thing I regret was not being able to use that amazing bath tub due to my lack of time.

The worse attendant

Very rude, charging for items I never took. Kicked us out at 5 in the morning, we left the room a mess and said you keep saying get out. But just asked for another night because everything was so booked up to get. Also no where not to go but to sleep in my car. Never asked if we needed clean linens or towels because we where staying four nights. No TV. Drove over two hours to pick one up. Had the AC so high that we where was extremely hot asked for a fan and he said didn't have one so I had to purchase one just to get some circulation in the room. Said it was a shared kitchen, but said I don't share the fridge but then said oh those are to big to fit in mini fridge that was one in the room. There were bugs in the bath and needed to clean it before we got in. There is so much more. I would suggest NOT to rent off of him again. Poor house mate.
