The rooms and all the interior I observed were old, run-down and dirty. There was a live, huge, flying cockroach in our room. The bathroom light wouldn't turn off and flickered all night. It was loud with other guests all night slamming doors and talking loudly. It was just gross. We were there for a total of 8 hours and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

It is apparent they have been attempting to update the rooms. The bathroom door frame was incomplete, the pocket door was haphazardly painted and wobbly, and the shower was still old and awkwardly placed. The floors were not the cleanest, but the beds, pillows and sheets were clean and comfy. We were there for just a quick night's sleep and supposedly got the last double bed room.

A quiet night's sleep

Staff was nice and helpful. Upon entering our room, we found it had not been cleaned from the previous guests; bed topsy turvey and dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom. Returned to the front desk and she was quite surprised, but immediately gave us another room which was in great shape.

Not clean enough

I was hopeful with the friendly service from the front desk but it went downhill from there. I entered to a room that had the widow open a couple of inches, with no screen, and I had to use my foot to get it closed. I needed to do some work so I set up my laptop and when I sat in the chair I could see and feel it was not clean so I wiped it down. I later used the bathroom, and I could see that there was blotches on the ceiling and the same residue on the side ofvthe shower (hence, I didn't use it). Looking more closely, the floor and items in the room were not cleaned as well as they should. I only needed to stay the night and it was getting late so there was no reason to ask for a different room as by then I didn't trust that any rooms would be clean. I will not be staying there again.

When we arrived at this property, I checked in with relative ease. We went to our room, turned on the AC, and jumped into the shower. The room was still warm when we got out, but I dismissed it as just getting out of the shower. I napped, and upon waking discovered the room was still hot. I reported it to the desk clerk who contacted her manager who told us to unplug and restart the AC unit. That didnt work so she then contacted maintenance. The manager refused to just relocate us to a new room because she wanted to rent out all available rooms. When maintenance finally got there, he worked in the unit, and finally told the desk clerk to give us another room because he couldnt fix it that night. This room was smaller, but was the only one available so we took it. It smelled musty, but we survived. Breakfast was decent and had hot options, but with only 1 juice option-orange and coffee. Overall, it was an alright stay, but I won't book there again.b

What a wonderful day! I love to stay here the night before an early flight because they have a free shuttle over to the airport! Staff is so very very nice beds are so comfy area is very safe!
