Excellent location and all the amenities you could ask for. Walking distance to downtown, beautiful views and the sound of the stream out back from the deck. The downstairs area is great for hanging out with diverse activities, everything was clean and in good working order, we can't wait to come back and stay here again!

What a gem! Perfectly sized cottage walking distance from downtown Blowing Rock. Walked to dinner and breakfast as well as all the cute shops. Only an 8-10 minute drive to App Ski Mountain so it was perfect for coming back home mid day for a rest or lunch. All of the beds were comfortable, even the pullout, and everything was so thoughtfully decorated and put together. Perfect space for our family of 5 plus one. All teenagers and adults. The creek provided some entertainment with wildlife. Thought privacy was going to be an issue but it absolutely wasn’t. We loved the outdoor space but never got to use it. Firepit looked awesome. Everyone’s favorite part was the basement with the dartboard and donkey Kong. My favorite part was the cutest coffee bar. Would 1000% stay here again.

I would definitely come again. Very well appointed—what vrbo has batteries, bandaids, birthday candles, and a basting brush?! Parking area was smaller than I thought it would be but it worked out fine.

Convenient Cozy Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Blowing Rock! This house was perfect for our two families with 3 kids, 7-10 years old. The stream in the back was a great place for the kids to play and the inside was wonderfully decorated and accommodating. The kitchen was well-stocked and updated, along with the bathrooms. It is convenient to downtown and the shops, restaurants and playgrounds (both the memorial playground and the one at the Blowing Rock School). The Famous Toastery is 2 blocks away and Chetola is across the street for early morning walks. Everyone wants to return and stay longer next time. Thanks for sharing your home (Making Memories) with us!

Blowing rock

Great location and lots of fun activities like video games and other activities in and at the house. Location is both a plus and slight minus. It's a busy spot with traffic noise, but not visible traffic from rear of property. Incredibly close to town so great short walk up to the restaurant and park area. Inside of home is great. Nice large bedroom downstairs and two good sized ones on main floor. Kitchen is great with everything you need and very comfortable back deck and living room. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location and House

Our quick two nights in Blowing Rock was especially wonderful because of this comfy and thoughtfully appointed home. We'd definitely stay again! The whole family enjoyed it. Loved that we could walk .5 miles to the outlets or downtown Blowing Rock.

Fantastic Home Walkable to Downtown Blowing Rock

The home is exactly as it looks in the photography and everything inside is brand new. Everything was well thought out such as nicer towels, makeup cloth, fully stocked kitchen with anything and everything you would need to cook great meals and great appliances. We especially enjoyed the vintage arcade games and puzzles which entertained us during the long periods of rain that unfortunately happened for most of the stay. We loved that we could walk to downtown Blowing Rock in less than 5 minutes and really didn't have to use our cars much at all! Highly recommended place!

Wonderful home away from home

This property is terrific. A beautifully decorated and comfortable home with all the amenities you could want. Great location for walking around Blowing Rock. Cozy living room, sizeable bedrooms, modern baths and great kitchen with everything you could want to cook or just snack. Definitely will stay here again. Will be lovely in the spring.

Lovely house in ideal location!

We had a great stay! There were 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-13) and we had plenty of space. The house was immaculate and the proximity to downtown Blowing Rock was perfect. We walked to breakfast & dinner and all the lovely shops. Highly recommend and we hope to return!

Lovely and clean

The layout of the home was perfect for our family. Everything was spotless which I really appreciated! Having a little stool handy was awesome for our 4-year old. The closeness to the center of town was amazing, and we did a great waterfall hike which began only a minute or so down the road. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about our stay!

This house is so beautiful and the location can't be beat. We spent 3 days here with friends and had the best time. This house had it all! Location is excellent just steps away from resturants and shopping, a stream in the backyard with ducks (So peaceful listening to the water), firepit, Dart board, horse shoes, etc. Already looking to booked this house again! Best house we have stayed in yet!
