Downtown Boalsburg - close to State College and Rothrock

This cozy home is located on Main Street in Historic Boalsburg. The house features 2 first floor bedrooms and a full bath. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and a large back deck. The house is walking distance to several nice restaurants, a new brewery, a winery, a new bike shop and the military museum. It is very close to Penn State - 5 miles to stadium. Great location to stay for several summer arts and craft festivals (Boalsburg Memorial Day Arts fest, People's Choice, Arts Fest). In addition, there is a bike park (Harvest fields nearby) as well as a indoor climbing gym. A few short miles away are several golf courses and the Tussey Mountain fun center. Mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers- this is a great location to stay while exploring Rothrock State forest.

The cottage was warm and cozy and has such wonderful comfortable beds!! Its location is close to everything and our dog enjoyed the walks around town and chasing squirrels in the fenced in back yard. Hoping to get back there soon!!

This house is a little home away from home for us! Quaint little cottage close to Penn State where our son is studying engineering. He loves to come and stay with us at this property and sprawl out in his queen sized bed. Our pup has the whole backyard to run. We love this place!

Wonderful location! Stayed for a football game and easy uber to downtown and stadium…and then quiet neighborhood in comfortable house to get away from the crowds. Fun little walkable bar The Bar was a great way to end our nights. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Perfect Location

Will and Dana’s home is a perfect location if you’re visiting the State College area. Boalsburg is a cute village where there are numerous restaurants within five minutes of the house to choose from. It’s a 10 minute drive to Penn State’s campus. If I had any questions, they responded quickly. We hope to return again!

Wonderful Cottage Close to Penn State

I almost want to keep this little cottage a secret. To have a whole house to ourselves, be able to take our dog (who had his own fenced in back yard), and two big beds was amazing! There's a lock box on the front of the house so it was easy to get the key. There was enough comfortable furniture everyone could sit together. The beds were soft and cozy. The heat came up as soon as we turned the heater on. There are couple of minor downsides. The water pressure in the kitchen isn't great - but the shower is fine. And the bathroom is small - you can be on the commode and wash your hands at the same time. However, the location is SO close to campus, and shops, and restaurants, that it's a true win for our family. Our PSU son was so glad to sleep in a Queen bed. And the place has all of the amenities - soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, paper towels, TP. And it's quiet at night. I can't say enough about how great this cottage is. Maybe next time it won't rain all weekend - but the bunny that lives in the backyard didn't seem to mind.

Great stay for the Penn State Game

This was a cute home right in Boalsburg. It was 10 minutes from our daughter's dorm and 10 minutes to the stadium. The house was well stocked with pots and pans and it worked perfectly! Would love to stay again in the summer and enjoy the backyard and the local places. Thanks for everything!

Perfect for 2

This little cottage is perfect for 2. Comes complete with everything that you could possibly need. The only drawback is that the bathroom is very small and the water pressure is low. It's a perfect location to get anywhere that you need to go.
