The property was beautiful, unfortunately the staff were unresponsive, rude, and unhelpful. I booked a two night stay and was excited to spend a weekend with my husband and 9 year old son. The first night we were there, at approximately 9pm we began get a strong smell of marijuana in our room, that kept getting stronger. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but received no answer. The next morning, the smell was worse. I immediately called and let the front desk know. She was rude and said she unfortunately couldn’t help because she didn’t know where it was coming from, completely dismissing my concern. I went down in person and let her know I had a child and the smell was unacceptable. She was dismissive and said, “ this is the first time you’ve complained”, which was completely untrue. I requested a different room and after a few minutes agreed to have one ready when I returned. I returned later that afternoon and went up to the room to gather my stuff, and the smell was worse. I immediately called and requested someone to go to my room and check to see how strong the smell was. The maintenance manager came and agreed it was strong. Unfortunately at this time, my clothes that was in the room had reeked of marijuana. Again, all I heard from the employees was that they weren’t sure where the smell was coming from and there was nothing they could do. Its disappointing that my originally call was dismissed and overlooked. Don’t expect good service from this location
