Don’t stay here

Booked a 4 night stay on a business trip. I travel about 4x a month. The check in (front desk) experience is unbelievably poor. They don’t have a computer and use a binder with paper to try to stay organized. In my opinion, the hotel has mold. Had to leave after the 2nd night (although I pre paid for 4 nights) because the mildew smell in my room was so bad and it was affecting my health. The back and forth with the front desk team was ridiculous. The design and decor is cute. They don’t have fans in the bathroom which is probably why they have a mold issue. I felt claustrophobic in the room as the windows open up to a brick wall. There are so many other places to stay in Boise, just skip the Avery.

Walking distance to one of the many dining options in downtown Boise, or stay in for the incredible restaurant and bar in the Hotel itself. The rooms are historic and beautifully decorated, beds are comfortable, etc, etc...But what REALLY makes this place stand out is the customer service. Every single person I dealt with was more than accommodating to all of my needs. I will definitely be staying there the next time I'm in town.

Beautiful older property. Smart choices were made in the refurbishment and the end result is gorgeous and unique. Room ran a little hot but otherwise was beautiful.
