The room itself was very small (I stayed in the smallest type of room) but serviceable. No desk, closet or wardrobe to speak of, but there were a few hangers to hang some clothes. The shower was small and a bit awkward, but I made do. The shower gel and body lotion smelled amazing. I got exactly one teabag, which was caffeine-free, and absolutely delicious. Two flat pillows. The nightstand was entirely taken up by some sort of amplifier? I put it on the floor to make more space. The view from my room of the town and surrounding mountains was incredible. The pool was an added bonus and was relatively warm; I enjoyed swimming laps on a crisp 9C morning. Service was attentive and polite, but not particularly friendly. Breakfast was not included and ridiculously expensive, which was an unfortunate surprise. Luckily there are several delicious bakeries within a five-minute walk which offered very satisfying breakfasts for half the price. The history of the hotel is charming.

Classy hotel bang in the centre of Bolzano

This is a lovely place to stay as a base for exploring the Dolomites and Bolzano itself . The breakfast was excellent as was our room . The outside bar at night is lovely for a night cap . Pool very small and busy so didn’t get to try it out but looked nice .

The hotel is old some areas remodel and gorgeous like all the common areas. Main floor. The room was basic, shower not great and there was only two outlets in the whole room. Not worth the money in my opinion. It’s a vibe if you are into that.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Very clean, very charming, yoga classes were awesome, sauna was great, staff were kind, lounge was super relaxing. The location was also perfect!

Major Disappointment

Very disappointed with the attention to detail or rather, lack of. Drinking glass in my room was chipped, tissue-box empty, pencil not sharpened. Crumbs on the couch in the bar. No instant coffee in the room. No wine or other alcohol in mini bar.Bed was not comfortable and neither were the pillows
