Vacation at Bonita Springs

Excellent location for our needs – conveniently situated just off Bonita Beach Road. The house is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood, only a few minutes from US 41 or Barefoot Beach, 15 minutes from Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park & Beach (unfortunately closed due to hurricane damage), and about 30 minutes from RSW airport or Naples. The house was well-maintained and tastefully furnished with quality furniture, which we really appreciated. As cooking enthusiasts, we found the kitchen and provided utensils a pleasure to use. There was a minor issue with the grill, but Katelyn quickly resolved it. The pool was perfect for relaxing before and after the beach or shopping. However, the only downside was the pool’s “solar heating” system. Unfortunately, during the first few days and towards the end of our stay, the weather was cloudy, and the pool was quite cold. There was also a problem with the pump, which wasn’t functioning properly at first. After some email exchanges, these issues were resolved, but I believe a traditional heater would be more practical between November and March, especially for visitors from Europe looking to enjoy Florida’s warmth and swimming opportunities.

Bonita Bliss

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in an ideal location, close to the beach and shops, and also a quiet neighborhood. Everything was new and clean and fully stocked for fun. My family enjoyed our stay and we will definitely book again next year. I think the only nice-to-have would be a hot tub, but that's just getting picky as the pool was nicely heated for evening swims. Thank you for your hospitality!

Nice stay in Bonita Springs

The house is very nice and is conveniently located near shopping and many good restaurants, in particular Pinchers, Coconut Jacks, Doc's and Angelina's (a must try). The convenient location does come with a minor downside, being located a couple blocks off the main road to Bonita Beach, the traffic can be daunting at times. One note, the photos show a poolside dinning set plus a sofa and two side chairs, but only the dinning set was present.

February Birthday Celebration

Overall stay was very enjoyable in an exceptionally quiet neighborhood. Location of home is very convenient to almost everything you would want to do or see in the area. Outdoor furnishings in the pool area did not match what was depicted in the listing. The additional seating would have been ideal but we made due with what was provided. Overall the house was very comfortable for our family of three couples.

Great Stay at Beautiful Bonita Springs Home

My husband and I just wrapped up a six-week stay at this lovely home. We felt right at home. The openness of the living space, combined with the large glass sliders to the pool area, made the space very comfortable. All the amenities - sheets, towels, dishes, pans, utensils, etc. - were of high quality. We had a great stay!

Naples Substitution

I cannot review this rental because, months after making our reservation, the home owner was unable to let us rent the house. The rental company substituted a home in Naples. It did not have a covered pool area, and it was not in Bonita Springs, but it was very nice.

Lots of space, clean and modern

The house provided lots of space for the family to be together or spend alone time, as needed. The remodel is beautiful and functional. Everything worked, especially the electronics (TV remotes, lighting, locks, etc.), which can sometimes be a challenge in a rental. Little details were attended to - the sliding glass doors slid effortlessly, the baseboards were clean and dishes/silverware/pots were plentiful. The private pool was a delight, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Good space for 2 couples

The house is fine for the cost. Layout is great for 2 couples (bedrooms on opposite sides of house, large central area). Everything is average quality....cabinets, appliances, sheets, etc. No problems, but no high-end feel at all. We experienced two appliance issues during our 1 week stay. The management company was very prompt and professional in addressing the issues.

Great home ... But

The good. Home is in a great location just east of barefoot Beach. Home is recently been updated and exactly as shown in the photos. Home was adequately appointed for serving many meals. Somebody was helping take out and bring in our trash cans never saw them but assumed it was a neighbor. The not good.. Well it's accurately posted that is a solar heated pool what's not understood is that that heater is inadequate in the winter wants to heat the pool. We stayed 15 days and pool never went above 77° despite running all day with temperatures in the 80s. Very disappointing to rent a pool home and then never be able to use it over 2 weeks. If you are renting the home expecting to swim during December through March be prepared for a very cold pool. The furniture while attractive is not comfortable for movie time. Over all the home was good and priced attractively for prime season. We would rent again if the owner installed an adequate heater.

February Vacation

The property was nice and clean, most things supplied. The solar heated pool was a challenge in February, because the weather is cooler at night. It would take some time to come to a comfortable temperature to swim, but overall the pool was fine.

Nice rental but had some deficiencies.

Good location for shopping and restaurants. Solar heating was a inadequate for really “heating” the pool. Did not have a iron and ironing board until we called for one. It was delivered within a day though. Beautiful grilling area but not ventilated well. Taped hand written tags on cabinets (assuming owner personal items) saying “do not open” was tacky. Liked the openness of floor plan with sliding doors to pool area. Items stored in garage seemed inappropriate for a rental property. Don’t know if this was a recently converted rental property, but it had that feeling.

Beautiful house!

The house is gorgeous. It’s very comfortable and well maintained. We discovered Barefoot Beach which is absolutely beautiful! It’s about 2 miles away. The pool area is very lovely. The neighborhood is very nice and safe.

Wonderful property in Bonita Springs, FL

Wonderful home with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and beautiful pool area. Would definitely recommend.
