This was my first time staying here as it was recommended because it was close to Gillette and easy to get to and from. We hit major traffic and a 4 hour drive turned in to 8. We were so happy when we finally arrived and could go into our room to relax for a bit, SHOWER, get ready and head back out. Unfortunately, that was not in the cards for us. Check in time at the hotel was stated as 3 PM. We did not arrive until 4:38 PM and our room was not ready. There was no way that we could wait until the room was ready and we had no choice but to say that we would take the room so we could at least put our bags in change and get right out again. We took the room being dirty. None of us were even able to shower. This was completely unacceptable. Your hotel also wanted a $50 incidental fee upon checking in. Again completely unacceptable as the room was not even ready for us, and it was way past the check in time! Then leaving the next morning, we were informed by staff that our car was almost towed because we parked in an area for buses where we should not have. No one told us where we could even park! I’m not sure if your hotel was overwhelmed with the amount of people staying there however, this was not only unfortunate for guests who have never stayed with you before, but completely unacceptable. I would be hesitant to ever recommend your hotel to stay at.
The front desk was great. Although the room was clean, it did smell a little musty. Breakfast was served until 10. We were there at 9:30. Several things were done and not replenished. I went to refill a juice before breakfast was done. I was told sorry, the machine is turned off.
Check out time was at 11am. I was brushing my teeth and at 10:55 am house keeping was already knocking on the door telling us to check out. For these reasons, I will not be returning. Than kyou
The only drawback to this property is they only service the room every THIRD night. At the very least, towel refreshes are needed every day, so three days seems excessively long. One of the perks of being on vacation is having someone else service the room, and with this policy, the customer does not receive this perk.
No one set my clock right and they either forgot my wake up call or had the wrong time.next time I’ll bring my own alarm clock. Other than that it was a great place to stay and very clean.
The hotel overall was great. What was not so great is not having 3 channels on the television for 2 days. I have never had this problem before. I had called down to the front desk on our first evening. Someone came to the room, tried to fix it then said they'd be back. Never came back. Tried again at the front desk the next day at breakfast, no one came up. Tried again that night, someone came to check, said they'd call in 15 mins. One hour later a call came saying it may be fixed within 24 to 48 hours. I was checking out the next day. It may not seem like such a big deal, however traveling with a special needs child who watches certain shows, it is a really big deal. Unfortunately I felt I was not being heard and the situation was down played by the staff.
