Never thought I'd see a Hampton Inn priced this high then had to pay for parking too. Room was nice, staff was friendly, included breakfast was above average. The location left a lot to be desired in terms of safety. I was there for a work trip and one of the customers I was visiting asked where I was staying and when I told him he advised to be very careful and to not go out at night--this part of town is known as "meth alley." It's located right across the street from a hospital, and there were ambulances and police sirens all.night.long. Would not stay there again.

Do not go there!!!

This was the worst hotel ever. There was blood on the walls, the sheets had blood on them. The pool was cold and dirty. The toilet ran all night. In the front of the hotel were drug addicts. As a Police Officer I was discussed. I will be call the corporate office, however they wont care

This hotel has been the most surreal one so far I have ever visited. The area is flooded with drug users, which the police occasionally dispersed even throughout the night. It is noisy even with closed windows with frequent sirens outside. We decided not to cancel solely because our arrival time was after 7pm, making it too late to look for another hotel. In all fairness, the rooms were in order as was the breakfast. Still, for this kind of money, guests should expect to be told in advance that 1. the hotel shares space with a health care facility and 2. is surrounded by mobs of drug addicts in am unsafe area. It is an absolutely disgraceful situation. A refund is in order.

The bedroom floor hadn't been vacuumed; the sink sprayed everywhere; the bathroom door stuck; and it's right by the hospital (my fault for not recognizing this while booking) so it was very very loud with frequent sirens 24/7. The staff was really friendly and the bed was comfy.

The Hotel itself was ok. Surrounding area, I felt very unsafe every time going in and out of the hotel. My husband and I thought we were going to be able to just walk from the hotel to anywhere we wanted to go, but we couldn’t. Very sad seeing so many homeless and people that were visibly drunk & drugged.

Perfect location distance from one of our college visits and my cousin. Slept pretty good too! Wish there were more gluten free options for the free breakfast but we made it worth the visit!

Horrible experience. Stains on the bed. Reached out to front desk who said no other rooms. They sent maintenance man up with new sheets, but didn’t offer to change them. Also no apology for the poor cleanliness of the room.

Great hotel (unfortunate location)

The hotel is great. Dulce was very helpful to guests and her colleagues. The location however is not ideal with drug addicts lingering around, but the hotel has stepped up security and there were always security guards around.

The staff was good and the place was clean but it is literally surrounded by Heroin addicts. Witnessed 6 drug deals Out the window. Watched numerous people shooting up on side walk in broad daylight. Staff did call bpd who moves them along but they were back in short order

For some people, the images they will see on the corners near the hotel will not be pleasant; they will see some sick people due to addiction and homeless people, who go to the hospital next to the hotel. But it has nothing to do with the hotel. There is a lot of security by the local police who provide service 24 hours a day, a patrol car parked in front of the hospital and the hotel and others driving around.

The hotel itself was fine; clean, friendly staff, easy check in, rooms were nice. The parking garage was across the street so not the easiest with bags and such. The room we were in was extremely loud, there were constant car horns and sirens until about 2am. Overall, would not recommend This hotel based on the location and noise:

If you are a tourist who has never been to Boston I highly suggest you do not stay here. The closest subway is a 20 min walk and the area the hotel is located at is extremely unsafe, and poverty and drug stricken. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere in the North End of Boston.
