Our place is not a modern construction at all, and it does not have a hotel feel at all, it is our home amazingly located among it all. Although the street (Ridgeway Lane) is quiet, the brownstone building is located in an old/historic and elegant neighborhood (Beacon Hill) - our condo is located in a brownstone building dating from the 1800's - street gas lamps, but also old piping; expect some routine/sporadic home noises/sounds every now ant then. Old charming building and home.
