I freaking love this place. I know it's not quite everybody's cup of tea but it was sort of like camp on a lake. Even though it's a hotel. It was just a had a real homey welcoming feel to it

Winter challenge

A lovely little motel that would be perfect if the weather was good. Our stay was cold and rainy, expected for winter. The exterior staircase and hallway were less than convenient with luggage and got slick as weather worsened. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Room was clean, cozy and well appointed.

Not for me

The door did not lock the attendant had already left at 10 did not feel safe so I left. The heat was at one level was cold and I put the room keys in the drop box but there is no lock so anyone can take them. I could hear the other customers in my room not sound proof. Overall the attendant was really nice and welcoming.
