Disappointing Stay

Traveling with a group of 10 friends that booked 4 rooms. Unfortunately we were highly disappointed with the hotel and management. Although we called the day of check-in to let them know we would be arriving from our tour at 3am they gave away three of our four rooms. Management had no explanation why the rooms weren’t held, and the rooms given which only had 1 king bed was inconvenient for most that were friends and not couples. The room for my mom & I was the only room not given away. However we did not have hot water in the shower/tub. When I asked for them to address the problem the first day while we were out it wasn’t. Upon return in the evening I requested again and waited until 1am with no show by the engineers. I was told there were numerous patrons with the same issue and they were going in order. The following morning I requested again at the front desk & was told the initial request couldn’t be completed because I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. They finally addressed the issue but left a note saying there wasn’t a problem, I just didn’t know how to operate the controls. This is definitely not true! We used the showers of my friends room 3 doors down with the same configuration and had hot water. To me, they had problems and didn’t want to take ownership of the issue. Others in the group spent the entire stay trying to resolve their reservation issues to no avail.

Updated property, facility was well kept and the staff are helpful and friendly. Very centrally located and the mall is connected from the inside, so in case of inclement weather, getting sundries and having many good dining options is a plus.

Payment card machines were not working and took almost 30mins to check in. Then we were provided with the wrong room per our booking and had to move. It was a late evening check in and we were tired. The last thing we wanted was an hour to check in and get to our room. Staff were polite enough but never apologised or thanked us for our patience for their error or delays.
