Comfortable and Compact Capsule-Style Rooms

I had a good stay at Yotel Boston, but I have to say the rooms are quite small. They’re not like capsules, to continue the hotel’s view of itself as a spaceship (The main desk is literally referred to as Mission Control.). That said, the sofa that becomes the bed it super comfortable. I slept really well in it. The rainfall shower was also nice, although its glass enclosure leaked quite a bit. The hotel itself is in great shape. It was quiet and comfortable. I’d the rooms were little more spacious, I would improve my rating of the hotel. It would also be nice to have a minifridge in the room. The staff were fine, but only interacted with them briefly at checkin and checkout. I didn’t request my VIP experience. So I’m not sure what that would’ve looked like had I asked.

The rooms need some renovations, I stayed in a suite ( Bed first) and the table in the room was peeling, the curtain by the shower was stained and dirty, the bathroom sink was stopped up, hair in the sink and stuck on dry towels. The valet at this location was horrible took forever to come and made me late for my reservation at a restaurant. The staff could use some training on customer service because they weren't the best experience and possibly some diversity training its seems that guests are treated differently due to the color of their skin. This was very disappointing to say the least and I've stayed at Three other Yotel locations and they all were great.….. This one not so much!

The YOTEL is conveniently located and the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. The room was spacious with a large bathroom with a rain shower. Comfortable bed, plump pillows, great Wi-Fi, super-fast elevators. There’s no fridge in the room, though, so don’t bring leftovers back with you! The only complaints—and they’re minor—is that the ice machine in the hallway can only kick out a 1/2 bucket at a time and the key cards often required 2-3 taps per use to open the room door or to access the elevator. Hardly problems to get worked up over. We would definitely stay here again.

The beds are wonderful they are adjustable so very comfortable. The staff was great. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but went up to the 12deck patio bar beautiful view.
