Looking to explore further? Mazamet, once the world's leading centre for the wool industry, is well worth discovering with its charming streets and elegant townhouses. You'll also find Lake Montagnès, perfect for swimming or relaxing with the family, and the hilltop village of Hautpoul, famous for its spectacular views and impressive footbridge. And if you're dreaming of the seaside, the Mediterranean beaches are only about an hour away. The drive itself is a pleasure, winding through the vineyards of Minervois and Saint-Chinian. Step inside this beautifully renovated former farmhouse and make yourself at home for your entire stay. As the owners do not live on site, you'll enjoy complete privacy. Spacious and welcoming, the house comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. On the ground floor, the separate, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals just like at home, including a filter coffee maker and a Senseo coffee machine. Next door, the living room and dining room provide inviting spaces to spend time together. On cooler evenings, the open fireplace creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. - Bedroom 1: one 140x190 cm double bed. A shower room and separate WC are also located on the ground floor. Upstairs (via a steep staircase), you'll find two additional bedrooms and a second shower room with WC: - Bedroom 2: one 140x190 cm double bed. - Bedroom 3: two 90x190 cm single beds. Outside, the private garden offers plenty of space for children and adults alike to relax and play. The covered, shaded terrace is sure to become your favourite spot, whether for peaceful breakfasts, long lunches or sunset aperitifs overlooking the Montagne Noire. Private outdoor parking is available beside the house. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided for your convenience. Please note that towels are not supplied. Good to know: you'll be sharing the surroundings with a few friendly residents—geese, chickens, ducks and lovebirds.
