This unique place has a style all its own. An incredible view of Howe Sound and the mountains. Watch the ferries go by in this sunny place. It is ideal for singles, couples, friends and families seeking a tranquil setting, looking for inspiration or reflective time. Lounge on the patio or practice some calming exercises on the large deck off the lower level and feel the stress melt away. Hear the owls at night while you watch the moon rise over the mountain and on clear nights you can stargaze.

Quiet, peaceful location with separate entrance and fenced yard. Howe Sound Retreat is a new quality suite located on a beautiful hill (please note: the road leading to the property is single lane, steep and curvy please drive with caution). If you are arriving by car we are a 5 minute drive from the ferry in Snug Cove with all its amenities (shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants). If you are walking off the ferry, you can catch the bus 281 and ask the driver to drop you off at Highland Trail.

THE SUITE:

Howe Sound Retreat has a private self check-in entrance. From the parking area it is down a set of stairs with outdoor seating and overlooking the ocean and mountains. Inside, you will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, toaster, French press, dinnerware, pots & pans, etc.). The suite has two bedrooms and one bathroom

Master Bedroom: new high end, medium-firm queen bed, cabinet, standing lamp, closet and plenty of storage. There is enough room in the bedroom to fit a pack n` play if you come with a young child/infant. Equipped with fresh linens, duvet and pillows.

Second bedroom: new high end, medium-firm double bed with storage space and a desk lamp. Equipped with fresh linens, duvet and pillows

The suite gets a lot of morning sun, so we furnished the master bedroom window with curtains. They can also be open for clear views to the ocean.

We will send you a detailed message with check-in instructions on the day of your arrival as soon as your suite is ready. We will do our utmost best to check you in as early as possible. Guests have a private entryway to the suite with self check-in. You will be send a link for an app which gives you access to the suite.

Our housekeepers arrive at 10am ready to clean. As if you are at your own home, prepare for the housekeepers by tidying up before your departure. We do not mean vacuuming or dusting but a general putting away, putting pillows back, removing collected rocks, sticks and shells, that kind of thing. We are proud of our team of outstanding Bowen housekeepers… showing gratitude for their good work is appreciated. Linens - no need to strip beds. Towels - damp towels and used cloths can be tossed in the shower. Kitchen: Please wash the glasses, dishes, pots and pans and put them away. Thank you.

Please do not move any furniture and please no shoes inside.
